
Gio Batz was awarded Rocky Mountain Council on Latin American Studies' Thomas McGann Book Prize in Modern Latin American History on April 12, for his book The Fourth Invasion. In February, CLAIR hosted a panel on Batz' book, which is based on years of collaboration with Indigenous Ixil Maya of Cotzal, Guatemala. You can read about that event here.
